New Life Church is a place where lives are changed, where God’s Word is taught in a practical way so that we can learn to live it out together. It’s a place where we experience real friendships and care for one another between meetings. It is a place of grace and acceptance, where we can be known and loved. It’s a place to belong. OUR FAMILY FUN TIMES
NLC’s fun times are just that – FUN! They give us a chance to build relationships and enjoy each other in an informal context where everyone from the youngest to the oldest gets to participate in a way that brings us together as a family. Our “Fun Connection” ministry team plans and carries out these special times throughout the year and we all look forward to their endless creativity and commitment to ensuring a joyful and uplifting time for the church. Check out some of the highlights of these times over the years!

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT US

The name “New Life Church” was chosen in 1986 by the charter members of this church in complete unity (the way we make all of our corporate decisions) because we believe it describes best what we’re really about here: living out together a new life offered to us through the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus.
No, we’re not part of a denomination or outside organization. NLC is what is commonly referred to ad “non-denominational” or an “independent” church – that is, the kind of congregation that functions on it’s own. In other words, we raise up our own leadership from within this local group and make all of our own business decisions without any external control.
New Life Church was started by a couple who is now part of a team with a real heart for the “:New Testament Church”. a handful of people from the area wanted to hear more about this kind of church, so with their assistance and involvement, that couple began evangelizing and telling others what was accessible to them in Christ. God gathered a group of interested people who eventually became charter members of New Life.
Our doctrinal statement has three simple points. 1) We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. 2) We believe that we can have a relationship with God only because of the blood of Jesus. 3) We believe that every other doctrine should be discussed and decided in Christian love on the basis of God’s word alone.
